The gites are named after different towns in the local area, which all offer something different to see and do.  <STRONG>BOOK ONLINE</STRONG> from the choice of properties listed in this section : The Western Loire is great for family holidays; whether young or old there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.  Visit Troglo (underground homes) or the zoo, gardens, get “on your bike”, “saddle up”, or simply stroll along the paths and trails of the Loire. France is renowned for priding itself on its national cuisine and the Loire Valley is no exception. Anyone who appreciates fine dining will not be disappointed with the gastronomic delights available here. We first came to the Loire Valley in Autumn 1997.  We had made arrangements to meet a property company, who kindly arranged our accommodation which was a small hotel just below the Chateau in Saumur and overlooking the Loire river.
